Quickly determine damage and pay insurance to victims of mini apartment fire

Insurance companies proactively coordinate with relevant agencies to assess the extent of damage, determine the scope of insurance compensation, and pay insurance money to victims of the mini apartment fire in Hanoi.

On September 14, the Department of Insurance Management and Supervision (Ministry of Finance) sent a document to businesses and the Vietnam Insurance Association reporting on the damage and insurance compensation in the mini apartment fire on Khuong Ha Street (Hanoi).

According to this agency, the fire at the mini apartment building at No. 37, Alley 29/70, Khuong Ha Street, Khuong Dinh Ward, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi on September 12 caused heavy damage to people and property.

In order to quickly overcome the above damage, the Department of Insurance Management and Supervision recommends that insurance companies proactively coordinate with relevant agencies and organizations and individuals participating in insurance to assess the extent of damage caused by the fire.

From there, determine the scope of insurance compensation, pay insurance money and carry out compensation settlement procedures, pay insurance money quickly, promptly and fully to the insured (according to the agreement in the insurance contract and legal regulations).

At the same time, the Department of Insurance Management and Supervision requested the Vietnam Insurance Association to coordinate with insurance companies to provide humanitarian support according to internal regulations and relevant legal regulations.

Report to the Department of Insurance Management and Supervision before September 19.
