Multiplying the creativity of workers

These days, although work is busier and he comes home late, my husband is in high spirits and happy. When asked, he and his colleagues are perfecting the idea of ​​using molds on sewing machines, which helps increase productivity, make seams more even and beautiful, and shorten many complicated steps in the garment sewing process. During this time, to celebrate the 19th Hai Duong Provincial Trade Union Congress for the 2023-2028 term, his company's Trade Union has mobilized union members and workers to actively research and improve techniques to help improve productivity and product quality, bringing benefits to the company and increasing income for workers.

In the garment industry, each product and order has its own characteristics and properties. Therefore, workers are creative without limits and depending on each product and each stage of the production process, there are different improvements. My husband and many colleagues are very passionate, thinking of ideas to improve techniques to increase labor productivity, reduce time and labor. The Board of Directors and the company's Union always encourage and motivate workers to innovate and be creative in labor and production. As long as there is an idea, send it directly to the union or send a message via Zalo, Messenger... it will be accepted by the company and the union. Whether it is applied in practice or not, it will be rewarded. Thanks to that, workers feel respected, recognized and are very excited to participate.

Indeed, in recent times, the emulation movement "Good workers, creative workers" has motivated and encouraged workers to promote their intelligence, be proactive and creative in work and production, contributing to improving income and quality of life.

At the seminar on experience exchange, replication of typical models and initiatives with the theme "Overcoming difficulties, being creative - improving labor productivity" on the afternoon of October 7, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Tran Thanh Hai presented quite impressive figures. There are initiatives of workers that have brought in profits of over 500 billion VND, many initiatives have brought in profits of over 100 billion VND and there are many that have brought in profits of over 30 billion VND. The spirit of overcoming difficulties, daring to think, daring to do, innovating and being creative is increasingly spreading to a large number of workers and laborers nationwide.

Then, at the ceremony to honor typical examples of "Initiatives for overcoming difficulties, creativity, and victory over the pandemic" on the afternoon of October 8, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said that the initiatives demonstrated the creativity and intelligence of Vietnamese workers in promptly adapting to living and working conditions in the context of a complicated pandemic and in the new normal period, contributing significantly to stabilizing and restoring production and business activities of enterprises and implementing the political tasks of agencies and units.

In Hai Duong, the emulation movement "Good workers, creative workers" has attracted a large number of workers, civil servants and laborers to participate. In order for the movement to bring practical results, trade unions at all levels have specified the emulation content associated with professional tasks and job characteristics of each industry and field. Over the past 5 years, civil servants, civil servants and laborers in the province have proposed 765 scientific research topics with a value of 8,735 billion VND; 59,268 innovation initiatives and experience initiatives with a value of 23,531 billion VND.

As Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Tran Thanh Hai said at the above discussion: "The path of creativity is the shortest path to development. Enterprises that put their trust in their workers will achieve many results". To promote the intellectual strength, creativity and working efficiency of workers, trade unions at all levels need to coordinate well with leaders of agencies, units and enterprises to encourage, create conditions, mechanisms and environments for workers to fully develop their capacity. The emulation movement to promote technical innovation initiatives will be truly effective when there is attention and facilitation from the heads of agencies, units and enterprises, along with the dynamism, creativity, enthusiasm and responsibility of cadres, union members and workers.
