Within the framework of the first Ca Mau Shrimp Festival, designer Chau Loan was honored to be the only designer selected by the organizers to perform in two main events.
Coming to this event, designer Chau Loan brought to the program a collection of hand-painted ao dai called "Co Linh" with colorful ao dai, bearing a strong traditional mark and humanistic meaning.
The “Co Linh” collection is inspired by sacred animals such as carp transforming into a dragon, unicorn, dragon, peacock, phoenix, crane, stork, butterfly… Designer Chau Loan hand-painted these sacred animals on each outfit in the collection.
In addition to hand-painting, designer Chau Loan also meticulously hand-embroidered the delicate lines with feathers at the end of each flap. This is the collection that designer Chau Loan has worked on the longest - nearly two years to complete and launch the entire collection.
Participating in the show of designer Chau Loan's collection are famous names in the Vietnamese entertainment industry including: Models Nam Anh, Nam Em, Runner-up Thach Thu Thao, singer Ong My My... In addition, there are also many child models.
International runner-up Nguyen Le Thuy Linh and runner-up Thach Thu Thao performed the opening position for the Ao Dai collection "Co Linh". It is known that child model Thuy Linh is a familiar face in the fashion industry, she often appears in major domestic and international fashion shows.
