Nearly 1,000 delegates welcomed the country with folk dances to the song “Hello! Vietnam,” expressing pride in their homeland and sending greetings to international friends and visitors.
As part of the series of activities of the 2023 Hanoi Tourism Ao Dai Festival organized by the Hanoi People's Committee, on the morning of October 29, in the space of the Monument area of Death for the Fatherland and the walking street of Hoan Kiem Lake, the Hanoi Women's Union organized the Ao Dai Mass Performance program "Capital Women - Integration and Development" in 2023.
With the theme "Charming Ao Dai Hanoi," the program had the participation of nearly 1,000 delegates.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Le Kim Anh, President of the Hanoi Women's Union, emphasized that the ao dai is a valuable heritage, a costume that honors the traditional culture and beauty of Vietnamese women.
In the context of increasingly strong international integration and cultural exchange, Ao Dai is an indispensable part in the journey of preserving and promoting cultural values, the pride of the Vietnamese people.
Ao dai contributes to affirming the mark of our country's cultural identity on the world map, expressing the soul, beauty and character of the Vietnamese people, bringing international visitors many special emotions.
The highlight of the program was that nearly 1,000 delegates had a welcoming performance with folk dance movements to the song.“Hello! Vietnam”to express love and pride for the homeland, thereby sending greetings to friends and international visitors to Vietnam, to the friendly and hospitable capital Hanoi.
The stage performance of 600 members, women, and female students in the capital wearing Ao Dai, expressing the spirit of "Community Ao Dai" by women from districts, towns, and units of Hanoi, left a good impression on many people and international tourists.
After the Ao Dai performance on stage, nearly 1,000 delegates participated in the Ao Dai parade according to the groups of Central and City delegates, international guests, artists, representatives of families in the capital, representatives of female students, members, women from districts, towns, affiliated units, businesswomen, models, children...
With the messages "Hanoi - City for Peace," "Proud of Vietnamese Women's Ao Dai," "Elegant and Civilized Capital Women," "Charming Hanoi Ao Dai," "Hanoi - Come to Love," the Ao Dai performance and parade activities "Capital Women Integrate and Develop" in 2023 have brought new colors, honoring the value of Ao Dai in social life, honoring the elegant and civilized beauty of the Capital's women, contributing to promoting the image of Hanoi as a cultured, civilized, modern, safe, friendly and attractive destination for tourists.
