Recently, the Hai Duong BOT Thermal Power Plant in Quang Thanh commune (Kinh Mon) has emitted dust and loud noise, causing anger among residents of Mac Ngan residential area, Dong Lac ward (Chi Linh).
The main chimney of Hai Duong BOT Thermal Power Plant is only about 1 km from residential areas in Dong Lac ward (Chi Linh).
This factory is located about 1 km from Mac Ngan residential area.
Previously, since the end of 2020, some residents of Le Ninh and Quang Thanh communes (Kinh Mon) also reported the above situation. During the process of calibrating equipment and machinery to prepare for the trial operation of line 2, Hai Duong BOT Thermal Power Plant generated dust and noise, disrupting the lives of hundreds of households living around the area.
Relevant levels and sectors are requested to promptly inspect and handle the above situation.
