The prohibition sign is placed at the beginning of the access road, but many drivers still ignore it and go the wrong way onto the bridge to save time. If they go the right way, they must move along the National Highway 5 service road to get onto the bridge.
This behavior is both illegal and potentially dangerous because it is in the direction of the one-way traffic lane that is moving down. This situation has been going on for a long time.
According to Decree 100/2019/ND-CP, the above cases will be fined from 1-2 million VND and have their driving licenses revoked for 1-3 months for motorbikes; fined from 4-6 million VND, and have their driving licenses revoked for 2-4 months for cars.
