Beauty from Hai Duong - 'Miss Charity'

Ms. Vu Thi Minh Thuy is currently the Sales Director of Dong Do Company Limited, a company specializing in distributing Volkswagen brand cars in Hai Duong. She has just been awarded the title of "Miss Charity" and "Most Favorite Beauty" at the "Miss Asian Businesswoman 2024" contest licensed by the People's Committee of Ninh Thuan province, held in early December 2024.

“Beautiful in appearance and personality” is the comment of many people when meeting Ms. Thuy. Although she is 40 years old, Ms. Thuy has a youthful appearance and a simple way of dressing that exudes elegance.

Good business

After graduating from the University of Finance and Accounting, Ms. Thuy started working as an accountant at Dong Do Company Limited. As a woman and working in a field that is considered to be for men, Ms. Thuy had to try and make a lot of efforts to improve herself. She diligently studied and improved not only her specialized knowledge in accounting but also proactively researched and studied fields related to automobiles. The "sweet fruit" came when she was loved by her colleagues, her superiors trusted her and appointed her as Deputy Director, then Sales Director of the company.

Ms. Thuy shared that at work, she always has her own business strategy, specific goals and finds every solution to achieve the set plan, no matter how difficult it is, she does not allow herself and her colleagues to be discouraged.

In the service industry, she always believes in "pleasing customers when they come and satisfying customers when they leave", from selling cars, taking care of customers to maintenance... all are done carefully by the business. "We will advise and provide customers with detailed information about their favorite car models and those that suit their conditions and personal style. After purchasing, customers are also carefully taken care of when it is time for maintenance or upon request", said Ms. Thuy.

During her work, she always encourages her employees to be creative and apply initiatives to improve work efficiency. Dong Do Company Limited meets the 4S standards according to the company's latest standards on factory equipment, infrastructure, and human resource training. The enterprise has a scale of 4,000 m²with sales areas, general repair areas, product display areas... neatly and tidily planned.

Currently, Dong Do Company Limited has 60 employees, with an average salary ranging from 12-15 million VND/person/month.

Meaningful charity project

Not only successful in business, every year, Ms. Thuy, together with the company and charitable organizations and groups, participates in many activities to visit and give gifts to people in difficult circumstances. Dong Do Company Limited has established a "Charity Fund" and each year spends 2-5% of profits to carry out charitable and humanitarian activities.

In 2023, she coordinated many gift-giving activities for the poor in some communes of Hai Duong City, Thanh Ha District and some northern mountainous provinces. Most recently, she and members of Thien Nhan Tam Club gave more than 800 porridge portions to patients and their families at the Provincial General Hospital.

At the "Miss Asian Business 2024" contest, Ms. Thuy won the title of "Miss Charity" thanks to her meaningful and humane charity project.

Sharing about this project, Ms. Thuy said: “This year, we plan to coordinate with a number of selected units to build schools and support costs for a school in a mountainous area with the hope that children will have more adequate learning conditions, so that they can reduce difficulties in life.”

The New Year has come, I wish that the idea of ​​Ms. Thuy and her colleagues will come true so that children in the highlands can study in better conditions and many poor people will have less difficulty in life.
