According to the provincial Center for Disease Control, on October 24, Hai Duong had 4 new dengue fever outbreaks in Cam Giang (3 outbreaks) and Thanh Ha (1 outbreak) districts.
The province currently has 18 active outbreaks, including 2 complicated and prolonged outbreaks in Co Phuc Bac village, Kim Lien commune (Kim Thanh) and Lang Xuyen village, Gia Tan commune (Gia Loc). The outbreak in Co Phuc Bac village appeared on September 7, and has so far recorded 35 cases (30 patients have recovered, 5 cases are being treated); the outbreak in Lang Xuyen village has been active since August 31, and has so far recorded 22 cases (13 patients have recovered, 9 cases are being treated).
In recent days, dengue fever in Hai Duong has continued to spread. On October 24, the province recorded 33 new cases, the same as the previous day. From January 1 to October 24, the province had 900 patients with dengue fever, an increase of 410 cases compared to the same period last year.
