The National Assembly Office said that on October 11, the 27th session of the National Assembly Standing Committee will take place under the chairmanship of National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and Vice Chairmen of the National Assembly with many important contents in preparation for the 6th Session of the 15th National Assembly.
At this session, the National Assembly Standing Committee will give opinions on the report on the results of monitoring the settlement and response to voters' petitions sent to the 5th session of the 15th National Assembly; the results of receiving citizens, handling petitions and supervising the settlement of citizens' complaints and denunciations sent to the National Assembly in 2023; and consider the report on the National Assembly's petition work in September 2023.
Next, the National Assembly Standing Committee will give opinions on the draft report synthesizing opinions and recommendations of voters and people sent to the 6th session of the National Assembly. Give opinions on important issues to be submitted to the National Assembly at the 6th session. Give opinions on the report on the implementation of Resolution No. 43/2022/QH15 of the National Assembly on fiscal and monetary policies to support the Socio-Economic Recovery and Development Program. Give opinions on the Government's Submission on the implementation results, difficulties and obstacles in implementing the three national target programs in the 2021-2023 period and propose specific solutions and mechanisms to remove difficulties and obstacles, speeding up the implementation of the programs in the coming time.
Also at this session, the National Assembly Standing Committee will give opinions on preparations for a vote of confidence for those holding positions elected or approved by the National Assembly at the 6th session of the 15th National Assembly. Consider the Government's report on citizen reception and complaint and denunciation settlement in 2023.
The National Assembly Standing Committee will also conduct thematic supervision on “Implementation of policies and laws on energy development in the 2016-2021 period”. Consider and approve the Prime Minister’s proposal on the appointment and dismissal of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Consider and decide on the plan for allocating and using the increased revenue and savings from the central budget in 2022 and the increased revenue from the central budget in 2021 allocated to the Socio-Economic Recovery and Development Program to implement the policy of supporting the remaining rent for workers.
The Standing Committee of the National Assembly also commented on: the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on piloting a number of mechanisms and policies to remove obstacles stipulated in a number of laws related to investment in the construction of road traffic works. Commented on socio-economic issues, including: Assessment of the results of the implementation of the 2023 socio-economic development plan, the expected 2024 socio-economic development plan. Mid-term assessment of the results of the implementation of Resolution No. 16/2021/QH15 on the 5-year socio-economic development plan 2021 - 2025. Mid-term assessment of the results of the implementation of Resolution No. 31/2021/QH15 on the economic restructuring plan for the period 2021-2025. Comments on financial and budgetary issues, including: State budget implementation in 2023, state budget estimates, central budget allocation plan in 2024 (including implementation of state budget public investment plan in 2023, expected state budget public investment plan in 2024). Mid-term assessment of the implementation of the National Financial Plan and borrowing and repayment of public debt for the 5-year period 2021 - 2025. Also at the Session, the National Assembly Standing Committee also considered and decided on the supplement of the 2023 foreign aid revenue and expenditure estimates of Quang Binh province. It also gave opinions on the Government's report on the results of the review of the system of legal documents before submitting it to the National Assembly at the 6th Session as required in Resolution No. 101/2023/QH15 of the National Assembly.
The 27th session of the National Assembly Standing Committee will take place over four and a half days.
