Inspired by the legend of the Dragon and Fairy's Descendants, Nghinh Phong Tower is not only a symbol of Tuy Hoa City (Phu Yen) but also an extremely attractive check-in spot.
Nghinh Phong Tower is located in the large Nghinh Phong square, at the starting point of Nguyen Huu Tho Avenue and Doc Lap Street in Tuy Hoa City, a place to welcome the sea breeze deep into the heart of the city.
Nghinh Phong Tower was built in 2020 and officially put into operation with Nghinh Phong Square in 2021 with a total investment of up to 128 billion VND, built from the idea of Huni Architectes Company (France).
The work has an architectural language depicting the legendary story of Hundred Eggs, Hundred Children, combined with ideas inspired by the natural landscape of Ganh Da Dia, a special national heritage. It is built from 50 hexagonal stone blocks on each side, divided in the middle by a wind gap originating from the idea of welcoming the wind. The granite blocks are stacked on both sides of the wind gap, creating 2 towers, the symbol of Ganh Da Dia in Tuy An.
In the middle of the wind gap are relief panels carved on granite slabs, carved by Phu Yen artisans as a form of telling historical stories, reminding us of our ancestors' origins in reclaiming the land and building our homeland Phu Yen.
Nghinh Phong Tower is a project designed and constructed with the entire exterior from the steps up and down to the yard; from the tower base to the tower body is covered with granite slabs, a material with eternal durability and abundant in Phu Yen.
At night, the Nghinh Phong tower is illuminated with Boline - Tesia 3D Mapoping technology and high intensity lasers, creating a multi-colored dance of light, blending with the whistling sound of the sea breeze through the tower's Nghinh Phong slot.
During the day, from afar, Nghinh Phong tower looks like the bow of a ship sailing across the ocean waves, the dark and light rocks stacked on both sides like waves splashing white foam on the side of the ship.
Nghinh Phong Tower, a check-in location for locals as well as tourists from all over the country when coming to the coastal city of Tuy Hoa. The tower is a Phu Yen song written from the wind, a unique architectural work with profound architectural art language that is an attractive destination for everyone.
