According to the US Secretary of State, a two-state solution is feasible but the Palestinian issue must be resolved first. He said that a Palestinian state can coexist if Israel's security is guaranteed. He stressed that Washington is fully committed to ensuring Israel's security and believes that there will be a solution to establish a Palestinian state without causing concern for Israel.

At the meeting, Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan made it clear that only a genuine commitment to a two-state solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict can prevent a recurrence of the conflict in Gaza.

Meanwhile, Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry also called on the international community to promote concrete steps to implement the two-state solution.

For his part, Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Ali Sabry said the Israel-Palestine conflict will not be resolved until the two-state solution is implemented.

According to health authorities in the Gaza Strip, at least 34,000 Palestinians have been killed and more than 77,000 injured since the Hamas-Israel conflict broke out in October 2023. Meanwhile, Israeli statistics show that the conflict has killed 1,200 people in the country.
