On November 29, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that the US and its allies remain steadfast in supporting Ukraine despite doubts about future support.
Secretary of State Blinken made the statement after a meeting between the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and Ukraine in Brussels, Belgium. He stressed that NATO allies have agreed to continue supporting Ukraine and he also saw that both houses of the US Congress continue to support Ukraine.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba declared that his country will not back down, Kiev's strategic goal is territorial integrity to contribute to ensuring security not only for Ukraine but also for the entire Euro-Atlantic region.
Ukraine is working to join NATO. The military alliance said it would accept Ukraine “someday” but did not issue a formal invitation at its summer summit. At the NATO-Ukraine meeting, NATO member states made recommendations on both military and political reforms to bring Ukraine closer to joining the alliance.
