Some private schools in Hai Duong have difficulty recruiting teachers. Many teachers start working but then change careers.

Hoa Thuy Tien Kindergarten in Cam Giang district has difficulty recruiting teachers.

On September 21, continuing the program of monitoring the operation of a number of private schools in the province, the Culture - Social Committee of the Hai Duong Provincial People's Council supervised Hoa Thuy Tien Kindergarten (campus in Cam Giang district) and Marie Curie Secondary and High School (Hai Duong city).

At the meeting, leaders of both schools reported many difficulties in recruiting teachers. According to the leader of Hoa Thuy Tien Kindergarten, the kindergarten teaching staff is typically young and of childbearing age, so there is frequent turnover. High work pressure causes many teachers to quit their jobs. The school is also lacking a Vice Principal.

Marie Curie Secondary and High School also faces difficulties due to a lack of teachers. The school's Board of Directors said that it is difficult for the staff, teachers and employees to be stable for a long time like in public schools because they prefer to work in public schools over private schools and often transfer to work in public schools.

The schools recommended that the province pay attention to supporting the non-public teaching staff; summon private school teachers to participate in invigilation, grading graduation exams, and excellent student exams to improve their professional skills. In addition, the schools suggested that the province move the time of organizing the recruitment exam for civil servants in the education and training sector to the summer to proactively recruit teachers for the new school year, avoiding disruptions due to teachers suddenly transferring to public schools...
