Standing Deputy Secretary of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee Le Van Hieu hopes that parishioners will continue to strive to build a life of "good life and good religion", contributing to the development of their homeland.

On the afternoon of December 20, comrade Le Van Hieu, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, together with leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, and the Department of Home Affairs visited and congratulated the priest of Ke Sat Parish and the priest of Saint An Ton Parish (Binh Giang).

On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee wished Father Nguyen Quang Sach (Ke Sat Parish), Father Dang Van Hoang (Saint An Ton Parish) and all parishioners a peaceful and happy Christmas.

In a friendly conversation with the priests, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee affirmed that Christmas is an important occasion for the Catholic Church and all Catholics. Nowadays, Christmas is not only a ritual for Catholics but has become a cultural feature and a common festival for the whole society.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the positive contributions of Catholics in general and priests in particular. The socio-economic development results of Hai Duong province have important contributions from Catholics. Currently, the cultural and spiritual life of the people is increasingly improved. The religious and belief needs of the people are fully and promptly met by Party committees and authorities at all levels.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee hopes that in the coming time, the priests will continue to care for and guide the people to properly implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies, and the directions set forth by the Catholic Church. At the same time, he hopes that the parishioners will continue to strive to build a "good life, good religion", contributing with all classes of people to build the homeland of Hai Duong to become more and more prosperous and civilized.
