McLaren Senna and MCL38 F1 have more commemorative editions but money can't buy them

Ayrton Senna - Legendary Formula 1 driver for McLaren from 1988-1993, three-time Formula 1 champion and five-time consecutive winner at the Monaco Grand Prix, passed away in 1994.

To honor the "legacy" left by Ayrton Senna, McLaren has officially introduced two new versions of the McLaren Senna and MCL38 F1 supercars to global fans. However, these two versions are only for display at the Monaco Grand Prix 2024, so even rich users cannot buy them.

It is known that the new version of the McLaren Senna was refined through McLaren Special Operations (MSO) and named: Senna Sempre. This supercar is coordinated with a color scheme that is heavily influenced by the country of Brazil and "embellished" with some of the achievements of legendary racer Ayrton Senna.

In addition to the McLaren Senna Sempre, McLaren also introduced a new version of the MCL38 F1 Formula 1 racing car with a new color scheme, to pay tribute to the contributions of Ayrton Senna. This model will be used by two drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piatris at the Monaco Grand Prix 2024 this year.

It is not new for famous supercar manufacturers around the world to create special versions to pay tribute to important people who have made a special mark on the brand. In August 2013, Bugatti launched the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse "Jean-Pierre Wimille" supercar version to commemorate the legendary racer - Jean-Pierre Wimille.

Inside the interior of the special edition McLaren Senna, there are only a few minor changes in the seats covered in yellow perforated Alcantara fabric and the door sills covered in black Alcantara fabric. This change is only different in color compared to the commercial version of the Senna supercar.

In Vietnam, there are two McLaren Senna cars owned by the beauty industry tycoon - Hoang Kim Khanh and the Trung Nguyen coffee boss - Dang Le Nguyen Vu but with different versions. The beauty industry tycoon's McLaren Senna is equipped with a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engine, with a capacity of 789 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque. This supercar reaches a speed of 0-100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds before reaching a maximum speed of 341 km/h. Meanwhile, Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu's Senna GTR still uses the same engine but with a stronger capacity, reaching 817 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque.
