Mazda has just introduced the MX-5 35th Anniversary Edition, limited to 1,000 units with exclusive design and paint color.
To celebrate the 35th anniversary of the legendary Mazda MX-5, the Japanese brand has launched a special version "35th Anniversary Edition", which will be on sale from February 2025.
With only 1,000 cars produced, this version promises to be a collectible model thanks to its unique design and personalized details.
The soft-top version with a 1.5L naturally aspirated gasoline engine produces 136 horsepower and 152 Nm of torque at 4,500 rpm. This equipment combined with a 6-speed manual transmission, rear-wheel drive, helps the car have a selling price of 3,753,200 JPY (about 605 million VND).
Meanwhile, the RF hardtop version uses a more powerful 2.0L engine with 184 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and 205 Nm of torque, priced from 4,354,900 JPY (702 million VND) with a manual transmission, or 4,382,400 JPY (707 million VND) with an automatic transmission.
The highlight of the anniversary edition is the exclusive Artisan Red Premium Metallic paint, applied for the first time on the MX-5 thanks to Takuminuri paint technology.
The car also features 17-inch high-gloss finish wheels, "35th Anniversary" logo and serial number, and a refined beige interior with commemorative motifs on the headrests and floor mats.
Mazda also updated the regular MX-5 lineup with the addition of wireless Apple CarPlay and the discontinuation of the Zircon Sand Metallic paint color.
