Carrying a pig-stabbing knife to rob a motorbike, 3 subjects were arrested less than 6 hours after committing the crime.

On the afternoon of September 29, after planning to rob property, Bui Van Minh (born in 2008 in Bao Hieu commune, Yen Thuy district, Hoa Binh province) along with Nguyen Tuan Vi (born in 2007 in Ninh Hai commune, Ninh Giang district) and Nguyen Thanh An (born in 2003 in Hoang Dieu commune, Gia Loc district) riding a black Honda Wave motorbike with no license plate carrying a pig-stabbing knife to Gia Loc district. On the way, the subjects took a crate of Hai Duong beer bottles.

At around 10:30 p.m. the same day, when arriving at the foot of Thong Nhat Bridge (in Zone 8, Gia Loc Town), they met a young man from Thong Nhat Commune riding a Honda Wave motorbike carrying a friend. An, Vi and Minh threw beer bottles at and beat the victim, injuring him, then stole the motorbike and headed towards Hai Duong City.

On the way back to Hai Duong city, Minh and Vi used a pig-stabbing knife to cut and break the mudguard, attached the victim's license plate and threw it on the roof of a house in the roundabout area, Gia Loc district intersection, then hid the knife in Tran Noi residential area, Thach Khoi ward, Hai Duong city.

Upon receiving the above information, the leaders of Gia Loc District Police directed the professional teams and Task Force 151 who were patrolling to ensure security and order in the area to arrest the subjects. Using professional measures, on the night of September 29 and early morning of September 30, the force arrested 3 subjects along with the vehicle and evidence of the case.

Before committing the crime, all three subjects had no criminal record. The initial cause was determined to be that because he had no money to spend, Minh left his phone at the bank. Then, wanting to redeem the phone, Minh asked An and Vi to steal a motorbike to sell for money to spend and redeem the phone. The pig-stabbing knife was carried to threaten and intimidate passersby.
