The labor force of social insurance age reaches nearly 40%.

In 2023, Vietnam Social Security will complete and exceed the target of developing the number of people participating in social insurance, unemployment insurance, and health insurance.

The rate of social insurance participation reached 39.25%, unemployment insurance reached 31.6% of the working-age workforce; the health insurance coverage rate approached the target of universal health insurance, reaching 93.35% of the population (exceeding 0.15% compared to Resolution No. 01/NQ-CP of the Government) with over 93.3 million participants.

The ratio of late payment amount/receivable amount of social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance is the lowest since 2016 (decreased from 6% in 2016 to 2.69% in 2023).
