Selection of 44 works for the 5th Nguyen Luong Bang Journalism Award

On November 17, the Council of the 5th Nguyen Luong Bang Journalism Award (2016-2020) organized the evaluation and selection of outstanding journalism works to award prizes.

The 5th Nguyen Luong Bang Journalism Award Judging Council evaluates and selects quality works to award prizes.

Before the council meeting, members scored independently and sent the scores to the general secretary.

Through discussion and evaluation of each work, the council selected 44 out of 55 works to enter the final round for awards. Of these, there were 4 A prizes, 8 B prizes, 12 C prizes and 20 consolation prizes.

According to the evaluation of the members of the Judging Council for the 5th Nguyen Luong Bang Journalism Award, the works selected for this award are of fairly even quality; the topics are diverse; many articles are exploratory and investigative. The works are closely related to reality, are topical, and raise issues of public concern. Notably, some works are predictive, directional, and pioneering.

The works considered for the 5th Nguyen Luong Bang Journalism Award (2016-2020 period) will be announced on the province's mass media and publicly posted at the headquarters of the Provincial Journalists Association for 15 days. After that, based on the recommendation of the Award Council, the Provincial People's Committee will decide to award the awards.
