As of 5:00 p.m. on September 14, the amount of money that organizations and individuals have donated in cash and transferred to the account of the Central Relief Mobilization Committee to support people affected by storm No. 3 is 1,001 billion VND.
Responding to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, in recent days, many agencies, businesses, organizations and individuals at home and abroad have donated through the Central Relief Mobilization Committee.
The Central Relief Mobilization Committee, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has initially announced the list and amount of money donated by collectives and individuals through bank transfers and cash with the desire to create conditions for organizations and individuals who have donated and registered to donate to see the openness and transparency in receiving and using the funding source; feel secure that their contributions have been sent to the correct address and the donated resources have been used for the right purpose, reaching the right people who have suffered losses; especially to spread and honor good deeds and actions.
Currently, the Central Relief Mobilization Committee continues to review and allocate funds as soon as possible to localities affected by storms and floods; at the same time, it continues to update and publicize the list of supporting organizations and individuals on mass media.
On September 14, receiving support from organizations and individuals sent to people affected by storms and floods, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Truong Thi Ngoc Anh emphasized that contributions, whether large or small, are very valuable, not only in material value but also deeply demonstrating spiritual value, embodying the Vietnamese spirit, solidarity and sharing of people across the country.
Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Truong Thi Ngoc Anh hopes that the feelings and hearts of units, organizations and individuals will continue to spread so that people affected by storm No. 3 will have more confidence and motivation to soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives; at the same time, she affirmed that the Central Relief Mobilization Committee will use the funds for the right purposes and effectively, continue to allocate them promptly, publicly and transparently, in accordance with the provisions of law so that the received money reaches the people of the provinces heavily affected by storms and floods as quickly as possible.
