On the morning of May 18, on the occasion of the 133rd anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2023), the delegation of the Party Central Committee, the President, the National Assembly, the Government, and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front laid wreaths, visited President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, and offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Monument to Heroic Martyrs on Bac Son Street.
Attending the ceremony were Politburo members: President Vo Van Thuong, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien.
Former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh, former President Nguyen Xuan Phuc, former Chairmen of the National Assembly: Nguyen Van An, Nguyen Sinh Hung, Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan; Politburo members, Standing members of the Secretariat, Secretaries of the Party Central Committee, Vice Presidents, Vice Chairmen of the National Assembly, Deputy Prime Ministers, along with many leaders, former leaders of the Party, State and leaders of central departments, ministries, branches and organizations attended the funeral.
The Party and State leaders respectfully expressed their boundless gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh, the founder, leader and trainer of our Party. The delegation's wreath bore the inscription "Eternal gratitude to the great President Ho Chi Minh."
On the occasion of the 133rd anniversary of his birth, our entire Party, people and army continue to implement his valuable instructions to put the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress into practice, successfully implement socio-economic programs, and strive to build our country to be increasingly rich and strong, standing shoulder to shoulder with the advanced countries in the world as Uncle Ho always wished.

Next, the delegation laid wreaths and offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Heroic Martyrs Monument on Bac Son Street.
The delegation bowed in memory of the nation's outstanding sons who did not spare their blood and bones, bravely fought and sacrificed for the cause of national liberation, for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the people. The delegation's wreath bore the inscription "Forever grateful to the heroic martyrs."
Also this morning, delegations from the Central Military Commission - Ministry of National Defense; Central Public Security Party Committee - Ministry of Public Security; Hanoi City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee... came to lay wreaths, visit President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and commemorate heroic martyrs.
