According to information at the scene, 1 person is still trapped inside the plane, the injured have been taken to the hospital.
Firefighter Dave Folio said units were on the runway trying to rescue people trapped.
"A Learjet 35A veered off the runway after landing and struck a Gulfstream 200 commercial jet on the ramp at Scottsdale Municipal Airport in Arizona. We do not know how many people were on board. The FAA is temporarily suspending flights into the airport," a spokesperson for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said.
This is the latest in a series of aviation tragedies that have rocked the United States recently.
On January 30, a passenger plane collided mid-air with a US military helicopter in Washington, killing all 67 people on board both planes.
Within a week, a medical plane crashed into a crowded Philadelphia neighborhood, killing seven people and injuring 19.
