Kinh Mon proposes investment in upgrading and expanding provincial road 389

This is one of the recommendations of Kinh Mon Town People's Committee at the working session with the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Duong province on the implementation of road laws in the area on the afternoon of October 16.

According to the report of Kinh Mon Town People's Committee, the town's external traffic system includes National Highway 17B, Trieu Bridge, May Bridge, Dinh Bridge, Provincial Road 389, Provincial Road 389B. The internal traffic system has 9 district-level roads with a total length of 48.8km, 123km of inter-commune roads and hundreds of kilometers of hardened village, hamlet, and intra-field roads...

Currently, some roads through the town have narrow road widths; the density and volume of motor vehicles participating in traffic are high, exceeding the design capacity; the quality of the roadbed and surface is degraded and damaged.

For routes in use, especially those passing through long-term residential areas, the exact scope of the road safety corridor cannot be determined because the legal land of households is adjacent to the road land. Many routes have been repaired and expanded, so the scope of the road safety corridor has changed.
