According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, today, November 2, cold air will continue to affect the Northern region, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An.

During this cold spell, the weather in the North changes little, it is cold at night and early morning, and cold in the mountains.

The lowest temperature is commonly from 20-22 degrees Celsius, in the Northern mountainous region 18-20 degrees Celsius, in the high mountainous region below 16 degrees Celsius in some places.

Tonight and tomorrow, November 3, the temperature may drop to 19-21 degrees Celsius, in the Northern mountainous areas 17-19 degrees Celsius, in the high mountainous areas in some places below 15 degrees Celsius.

From the night of November 2 to November 10, the Northern region is forecast to have rain in some places, cold at night and early morning, and cold in mountainous areas. In particular, the Northeast and the plains from the night of November 3 to the morning of November 5 will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some places having heavy rain.

From around November 4-6, the weather will turn cold, with some mountainous areas experiencing severe cold, and cold at night and early in the morning.

From November 3-5, the North and Central Central regions are likely to experience heavy rain, locally very heavy rain and thunderstorms with rainfall ranging from 100-200mm, locally over 300mm. Particularly, the area from Ha Tinh to Da Nang will have rainfall ranging from 200-400mm, locally over 500mm.

From November 6, heavy rains will continue and may move down to the Ha Tinh to Binh Dinh areas. Heavy rains in the central provinces may last for many days.

Warning level of natural disaster risk due to heavy rain, tornado, lightning: level 1, especially the area from Ha Tinh to Da Nang level 2.

The Central Highlands and the South from around the night of November 3 to 8 will have scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening, with some places having heavy rain. Thunderstorms may include tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

According to the Hai Duong Province Hydrometeorological Station, in the next 24 hours, due to the influence of the strengthening continental high pressure, the weather in Hai Duong province will be cloudy, no rain, cold at night and morning, less cloudy in the afternoon, sometimes sunny. Northeast wind level 2-3. The highest temperature during the day is 30-31 degrees Celsius. The lowest temperature during the day is from 19-20 degrees Celsius.
