The North welcomes increased cold air

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on October 26-27, the North will receive another wave of cold air. The Northern Delta and coastal areas, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An will have scattered showers and thunderstorms from October 27. The night and morning will be cold, and some mountainous areas will be freezing.

It is forecasted that in the 3 days of October 27-29, the temperature in Hanoi and the northeastern provinces will fluctuate between 27-28 degrees Celsius, the lowest 20-21 degrees Celsius; in the northern mountainous areas, it will generally be 25-26 degrees Celsius, the lowest 14-16 degrees Celsius.

The meteorological agency also issued a weather forecast from the night of October 28 to November 5. During this period, the North and the Thanh Hoa-Nghe An region will have rain in some places, with fog in some places in the early morning. The night and early morning will be cold, and the mountainous areas will be freezing.

Meanwhile, due to the influence of storm No. 6 (storm Trami), the Central region began to experience heavy rain.

From the evening and night of October 26-28, Quang Binh to Quang Ngai will have heavy to very heavy rain and thunderstorms, with common rainfall of 200-450mm, in some places over 600mm.

Northern Central Highlands heavy rain and thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain with rainfall of 100-200mm, some places over 300mm.
