The common characteristics of fake accounts are that they use avatars of beautiful girls and use similar text.

Many people's Facebook accounts, especially those with a large number of interactions, often receive friend requests from strangers. When sending friend requests, most of these people use "template text" such as: "I see you look familiar", "I saw you on my timeline", "Where did you take this beautiful photo?"...

Or some people pretend to accidentally text another account, with the content: "I've shipped the goods. Please let me know when you receive it"... The accounts of these people also have one thing in common: they use beautiful girls with nice names as their profile pictures. If you access that account, there are all pictures of them partying in luxury or posting philosophical and intellectual quotes...

If you do not research carefully and agree to make friends randomly, it is easy to fall into the trap of scammers.

Recently, the police force in some provinces and cities have investigated fraud rings through the form of making friends on Facebook, the people behind them are all men. Specifically, there are cases where these subjects have exchanged sensitive images, then turned around to blackmail. Most of the blackmailed people were embarrassed and did not report to the police, causing this form of fraud to increase.

People with experience using Facebook say that agreeing to make friends indiscriminately also allows the subject to access the account owner's photos and information and create another account to impersonate them, or even get the account hacked or lost...
