Israeli Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari affirmed that the country's air force will operate at full capacity and continue to strike strongly in the Middle East as it has done throughout the past year.
The Israeli military announced on the night of October 1 that its air force would continue to strike hard across the Middle East overnight after Iran attacked Israel with a series of missiles hours earlier.
“The air force continues to operate at full capacity, and tonight they will continue to strike hard in the Middle East, as they have done throughout the past year,” said Israeli military spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari in a statement.
Hagari vowed to take action against Iran after it launched a missile attack on Israel, saying Tehran was pushing “the Middle East into a state of escalation.”
Meanwhile, the Iranian delegation to the United Nations in New York affirmed that Tehran did not notify Washington in advance about the attack on Israel on October 1.
“No notification was sent to the US before we took action; however, an important warning was issued afterwards,” the mission statement said.
