According to Lebanese officials, Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon have killed two people and injured six.
The Israeli military said on November 30 that it had carried out airstrikes on four Hezbollah targets in the southwest, south and deep inside Lebanon after detecting activities by the group that could "pose a threat."
In a statement, the Israeli military said it “took action during the day against Lebanese activities that posed a threat to the State of Israel in violation of the ceasefire agreement.”
According to Lebanese officials, airstrikes in the south of the country have killed two people and injured six.
Also on November 30, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the lifting of restrictions on gatherings in most of the northern region of the country.
The decision was made after IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi and Defense Minister Israel Katz assessed the situation following the ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah.
The ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hezbollah took effect on November 27.
The ceasefire has largely held, but both sides have committed violations along the border.
