With the proceeds from selling calendars, Gia Loc District Youth Union (Hai Duong) will buy gifts for poor children and those in difficult circumstances on the occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year.
Gia Loc District Youth Union cooperated with Quang Canh Advertising Company Limited to organize the sale of Tet calendars to implement the program "Tet for poor children" in 2024.
This year, the company released 3 types of calendars, including 2 types of desk calendars with different sizes and 1 type of wall calendar, each priced from 70,000-120,000 VND, an increase of 2 types compared to last year. When buying 1 calendar, the buyer contributed 20,000 VND to the fund.
Each calendar consists of 12 pages, each page contains information about a national historical site in the district. Each calendar page has a QR code, buyers can use their phones to scan and see details about this site.
The above program was implemented by Gia Loc District Youth Union from 2023 and sold 1,400 calendars, earning 28 million VND. The unit gave gifts to poor students at schools in the district and participated in the "Warm Winter in the Highlands" program.
This is a meaningful activity of Gia Loc youth, both promoting local relics and providing funds for charitable and humanitarian activities.
