The profit of 28 million VND from selling Tet calendars will be used by Gia Loc District Youth Union to support poor children and the "Warm Winter in the Highlands" Program.
Launched from mid-December 2023 to January 3, Gia Loc District Youth Union has sold 1,400 2024 calendars, exceeding the original plan by 400 copies. Some units have implemented well such as Yet Kieu Primary School, Gia Hoa Primary School (Yet Kieu Commune), Thong Nhat Secondary School... Some units are still continuing to order calendars and Gia Loc District Youth Union will provide them in the near future.
The total profit from selling calendars is 28 million VND. Gia Loc District Youth Union will allocate 14 million VND to give gifts to poor students at schools in the district, 14 million VND to participate in the "Warm Winter in the Highlands" Program in 2023 and give Tet gifts.
Previously, Gia Loc District Youth Union coordinated with Quang Canh Advertising Company Limited (Gia Loc) to issue a Tet calendar with the theme "Pride of a country". Each calendar costs 69,000 VND, of which 20,000 VND will be donated to the Tet program for poor children launched by the unit.
