Employees can log in to the VssID application with their VNeID account, which is a benefit of the Project on developing population data applications, identification and electronic authentication to serve national digital transformation.
In order to provide more and more features and utilities on the VssID application, meeting the needs of the majority of people and workers, Vietnam Social Security has coordinated with the Ministry of Public Security to adjust and upgrade the VssID application to meet the requirements of connecting and integrating VNeID accounts with the VssID application.
Employees can log in to the VssID application with their VNeID account. This is also one of the benefits from the implementation of the Project on developing population data applications, identification and electronic authentication to serve national digital transformation in the period 2022-2025, with a vision to 2030.
To use the "Login with electronic identification account" feature on the VssID application, users need to meet the following 3 requirements: Already have an electronic transaction account with the social insurance agency (VssID account); already have a level 2 electronic identification account (VNeID account); have installed VNeID application version 2.1.0 and VssID application version 1.6.7 or higher.
Social insurance participants install the latest versions of the two above applications on the AppStore (for phones using the IOS operating system), or on Google Play (for phones using the Android operating system). Then, employees can log in to the VssID application with their VneID account in 2 steps:
Step 1:At the VssID application login screen, participants select "Login with electronic identification account." The VssID application will navigate to the VNeID application.
Step 2:At the VNeID application login screen, participants log in with a level 2 electronic identification account:
After successfully logging into your electronic identification account, the VNeID application will redirect back to the VssID application and display as follows:
Thus, with just a few simple steps, participants can use the electronic identification account issued by the Ministry of Public Security to log in and fully use the features and utilities on the VssID application.
