More than 506,000 patients received traditional medicine examination and treatment in Hai Duong

In 2024, the team of doctors and traditional medicine practitioners at all levels of the Provincial Oriental Medicine Association examined, consulted, and treated more than 506,000 people. Of these, nearly 300,000 patients used medicine, with more than 8,886 tons of medicinal herbs, and nearly 11,000 patients were treated without using medicine.

According to the assessment of the Provincial Oriental Medicine Association, the number of patients treated by traditional medicine methods increases every year. Some medical facilities and oriental medicine clinics in Hai Duong have built up prestige with people in and outside the province.

In 2025, the Hai Duong Province Oriental Medicine Association strives to develop 30-40 more members and publish 1,000 oriental medicine newsletters. The association will continue to improve the effectiveness of traditional medicine examination and treatment activities through training and experience exchange. At the same time, the association will review medicinal herb gardens in the province, assess the actual medicinal plants with high value in medical examination and treatment to orient development...
