On the afternoon of February 24, the Vietnam Youth Union of Toan Thang commune held the 5th Congress of Delegates for the 2024-2029 term. This is the unit that organizes the grassroots congress of Gia Loc district.

In the coming term, the Youth Union of Toan Thang commune strives for 100% of its cadres and members to practice, study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. Carry out at least 5 youth projects. 100% of branches and clubs register to carry out at least 1 youth project or task/year. Sponsor and help at least 5 students in difficult circumstances. During the past term, the Youth Union of Toan Thang commune coordinated to organize 50 propaganda sessions for young people on the Law on Military Service, the Law on Militia and Self-Defense; propagated and mobilized over 200 young people to participate in military service examination. Organized 15 activities to give gifts, provide medical examinations, provide health consultation for young people and disabled teenagers, and provide livelihood models for backward young people...

At the congress, the Youth Union of Toan Thang commune was honored to receive a certificate of merit from the Youth Union Committee of Hai Duong province for its outstanding achievements in activities during the period 2019 - 2024; The Youth Union Committee of Gia Loc district awarded certificates of merit to 6 collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements.

After the congress, the Gia Loc District Youth Union held a meeting to review the experience of the model congress. Gia Loc District strives to complete the grassroots Youth Union congress before April 2024 and the district-level congress before July 2024.
