Women's Union at all levels in Hai Duongtake care of Tet for members

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin, the Women's Union of some localities in Hai Duong province coordinated with agencies and units to organize many practical activities to take care of Tet for members.

Leaders of Chi Linh Women's Union and representatives of Pha Lai Thermal Power Joint Stock Company's Trade Union presented money to support house construction for Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha.

Chi Linh City Women's Unioncoordinated with Pha Lai Thermal Power Joint Stock Company to hand over the "Warm House of Love" house to Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha's family, in Bo Da residential area (An Lac ward).

Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha is a poor women's association member, in a particularly difficult situation, with poor health. Ms. Ha's husband is the biological son of a resistance fighter who was exposed to toxic chemicals. Ms. Ha's family's previous house is severely degraded.

After 3 months of construction, the new house with an area of 105 m², total construction cost of 335 million VND has been completed. Pha Lai Thermal Power Joint Stock Company supported 70 million VND.

At the house handover ceremony, the City Women's Union, the government, An Lac ward unions and Bo Da residential area all gave gifts to Ms. Ha's family.

Kinh Mon Town Women's UnionIn coordination with the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) Kinh Mon branch (Agribank Hai Duong II), 40 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, were presented to poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged women in Duy Tan, Phu Thu, Tan Dan wards and Hoanh Son commune.

Women's Union and Farmers' Association of Nam Sach districtCoordinate the organization of the cultural exchange "Warm Spring - Loving Tet".

More than 300 cadres, women's union members, and farmers from 14 communes and towns in the district brought to the exchange 20 folk dance, ballroom dancing, and cheo performances. The exchange created a joyful and exciting atmosphere, solidarity and unity among cadres, farmers' union members, and women's union members; improving the cultural and spiritual life of the members.

At the meeting, the organizers presented 38 gifts worth 19 million VND to women members and farmers in difficult circumstances in Nam Sach district.
