Hai Duong has 8 new first aid volunteer teams

Accordingly, 3 teams were established in Tu Ky district (in Van To, Cong Lac, Dai Son communes); Cam Giang, Kim Thanh, Binh Giang districts, Chi Linh city and the Provincial Humanitarian Action Center (No. 2 Phan Boi Chau Street, Cam Thuong Ward, Hai Duong City) each established 1 team. Each newly established team has 4-5 members, except for the Sao Do Ward First Aid Volunteer Team (Chi Linh City) which has 20 members.

Hai Duong Red Cross Society donated a first aid kit to the First Aid Volunteer Team of the Provincial Humanitarian Action Center; donated first aid kits including stretchers, alcohol, gauze, cotton, bandages, etc. to the remaining teams. Team members are responsible for propaganda and directly participating in first aid for traffic accident victims and injuries in the community on a voluntary basis; and annually participate in training courses and practice of first aid skills organized by the Provincial Red Cross Society.

In 2020, the Provincial Red Cross Society established 4 volunteer first aid teams in Kim Thanh district. Over the past 4 years, these teams have provided first aid to thousands of people, mainly traffic accident victims. Currently, the province has 12 teams, with 5 teams in Kim Thanh district alone.
