Over 1 billion VND to support Humanitarian Month

Kinh Mon Town Business Association presented a symbol of support to Kinh Mon Town Red Cross Association.

Since the launch of Humanitarian Month 2022, the Red Cross Society of Kinh Mon town at all levels has called for and mobilized 40 organizations and individuals to participate in support in many forms such as supporting 2 "Red Cross" houses; donating 10 bicycles, 15 scholarships to poor students who overcome difficulties and study well; giving 50 wheelchairs to people with disabilities in the area; providing regular subsidies to 36 disadvantaged households (at the rate of 500,000 VND/household/month); and one-time subsidies to families in especially difficult circumstances in the area. The total amount of support from organizations and individuals is more than 1 billion VND.

Giving bicycles to students who overcome difficulties and study well

* On May 25, Duy Tan ward (Kinh Mon) coordinated with Army Officer School 1 to support the construction of a "house of gratitude" for Ms. Pham Thi Dung, a policy family with difficult circumstances in Trai Xanh residential area.

Colonel Do Xuan Do, Chief of Politics of Army Officer School 1, presented money to support house construction for Ms. Pham Thi Dung.

Army Officer School 1 supported 80 million VND; Major General Le Duy, Political Commissar of Army Officer School 1, a native of Duy Tan, donated 20 million VND and many valuable gifts to Ms. Dung's family.
