Support 78 models of machine-transplanted tray plating

According to the provincial Agricultural Extension Center, this year's crop, the whole province built 78 machine-planting models with a total area of more than 522 hectares, an increase of 4 models compared to this year's winter-spring crop.

New tray plating production facilities are supported by the province with costs for renting premises and purchasing new trays.

Of these, there are 47 demonstration models of machine planting, with a scale of 3 - 4 ha/model, and 31 expanded machine planting models, with a scale of 10 - 20 ha/model. Binh Giang and Thanh Mien districts continue to be the two localities with the most machine planting models in the province, with 14 models each. Kinh Mon town and Gia Loc district do not have any machine-planted tray rice seedlings models supported. In addition, the province also supported the expansion of 4 machine-planted tray rice seedlings production facilities and 6 completely new facilities.

According to the Project "Developing the area of rice transplanting by machine in the period of 2020-2025", the demonstration model of machine transplanting is supported with about 3.7 million VND/ha, the expanded machine transplanting models are supported with about 2.2 million VND/ha. New tray seedling production facilities are supported by the province with 50 million VND/facility for the cost of renting space; support for buying new trays is 10,000 VND/tray, the total number of trays supported is not more than 20,000 trays. Facilities are also supported to buy the first growing medium to use as a seedling seedling foundation for 10,000 or more machine-transplanted trays, the total amount of supported growing medium is not more than 80 tons/facility, the support amount is 1,000 VND/kg of growing medium, equivalent to 50% of the cost of buying growing medium.
