Right at the beginning of spring, after the Lunar New Year holiday, the labor market in Hai Duong has become active again due to the high recruitment demand from businesses.
High demand
After the Tet holiday, all three factories of Tinh Loi Garment Company Limited quickly resumed operations to ensure production and business plans. The working atmosphere in the departments was bustling and urgent, signaling a new year with many new victories. A representative of Tinh Loi Garment Company said that in 2025, the unit will expand its production scale, so it needs to promptly add about 10,000 unskilled workers. In addition to ensuring a salary of 13 - 20 million VND/person/month, this company also rewards each new employee with over 10 million VND... Although many attractive incentive policies have been introduced, recruiting a large number of workers in the early spring still causes many difficulties for the company.
According to the report of the Provincial Statistics Office, as of January 31, the labor use of enterprises in the province increased by 1.9% compared to the same period last year. In particular, some industries have high labor demand such as: Machinery and equipment manufacturing (up 10.3%), motor vehicle manufacturing (up 5.6%), textiles (up 4.9%)... Representative of the Provincial Employment Service - Vocational Education Center said that there are currently about 150 enterprises with the need to recruit 10,500 workers, an increase of about 15% compared to the same period last year. Currently, the following LLCs: Tinh Loi Garment, Brother Vietnam Industry, Sumidenso Vietnam, Toyodenso Vietnam... are leading in the number of workers to be recruited.
Mr. Nguyen Tuyen Huan, Director of Vietnam Human Resources Supply and Training Joint Stock Company (Cam Giang), assessed that there are many reasons why the labor market in Hai Duong has been bustling since the beginning of the year. The most prominent of these is the need to recruit a large number of workers from new businesses in industrial parks and clusters. Expanding production and business scale also requires more labor. In addition, the situation of workers "job-hopping" after Tet often occurs, so some businesses have to recruit additional workers to replace them...
"The high demand for recruitment requires businesses to have good benefits to attract and retain workers. This has helped improve the lives of workers," said Mr. Huan. Currently, Vietnam Human Resources Supply and Training Joint Stock Company is a labor supply partner for 35 businesses in the province with about 10,000 people, an increase of 17% over the same period last year.
Diversified recruitment methods
Tinh Loi Garment Company is the enterprise with the largest number of employees in the province with about 20,000 workers. For each new employee, Tinh Loi will reward 4 - 6 million VND for the referral. This not only helps the employees earn more income but also helps the enterprise to always ensure production and business activities.
A representative of Tinh Loi Garment Company said that workers are always the ones who understand best the salary and bonus policies at their workplace, so consulting and introducing them to people will be easier and more effective. Since the beginning of the year, hundreds of workers have been recruited through referrals from the company's staff and workers. To ensure supply, Tinh Loi is focusing on developing a recruitment network through the Facebook page "Tinh Loi Recruitment". In addition, this company also actively participates in job fairs organized by centers and businesses. Thanks to practical solutions, after the Lunar New Year, Tinh Loi welcomed an average of 200 workers each day to apply and go to work...
The Provincial Center for Employment Services and Vocational Education has now built two popular labor recruitment channels: the website: vieclamhaiduong.vn and the Fanpage "Hai Duong Jobs". Here, all recruitment information of units and businesses in the province is continuously updated. Workers only need to perform a few simple steps to send their personal information to employers. This has helped businesses and workers save a lot of time and money.
"In the coming time, we will continue to focus on developing websites and social networking sites to better serve recruitment and job search needs. In addition, we will actively expand the labor market through online job fairs. Strengthen connections with schools to access high-quality labor sources...", said Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa, Deputy Director of the Provincial Center for Employment Services - Vocational Education.
The fact that businesses have launched many good treatment policies has made the labor market in Hai Duong more and more attractive and vibrant. Importantly, when the demand for recruitment increases, it will bring many job opportunities for workers, contributing to ensuring social security.
