Hai Duong handles 88 organizations and individuals for environmental violations on the Bac Hung Hai river system.

According to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the total amount of administrative fines was more than 3.1 billion VND. The provincial authorities also coordinated with the specialized agencies of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment to inspect and handle 2 establishments, imposing administrative fines of more than 1.2 billion VND.

Also according to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, after being inspected and examined, organizations and individuals have promptly overcome environmental protection limitations. Invest in, upgrade and repair waste treatment facilities (wastewater, exhaust gas) to collect and treat waste in accordance with regulations.

Currently, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment has been and is continuing to coordinate with relevant departments, branches and localities to review and develop a plan to organize inspections of compliance with environmental protection laws for production and business establishments, livestock facilities and craft villages that discharge wastewater into the Bac Hung Hai system.
