According to the forecast of the provincial Hydrometeorological Station, due to the influence of the low pressure trough connecting with the low pressure area in the west and the convergence of high winds, from June 4 to 6, the Hai Duong area will have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind. The total rainfall is generally from 50-100 mm, in some places over 100 mm.

To respond promptly to heavy rains, the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue of Hai Duong province requests agencies, units and localities to closely monitor warning bulletins, forecasts of natural disasters and weather to inform authorities at all levels and people to proactively prevent and minimize damage. Prepare on-site forces to support people in responding and overcoming consequences if any. Organize inspections and reviews of key areas for natural disaster prevention, residential areas along rivers, streams, low-lying areas at high risk of flooding, flash floods, and landslides to proactively deploy response plans.
