On New Year's Eve, Hai Duong City and many localities in the province held activities to welcome the new spring, highlighted by brilliant fireworks displays.

Hai Duong City organizes the program "Welcome Spring 2024" at Bach Dang Park.
Comrade Le Van Hieu, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation attended.
Also attending were comrade Luu Van Ban, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of a number of departments and branches; leaders of Hai Duong City and a large number of people.
The program has many unique and attractive performances praising the Party, Uncle Ho and Hai Duong homeland.
The program includes 2 parts: art performance and fireworks display to celebrate the New Year of the Dragon 2024. The art program is elaborately staged with the theme "Hai Duong welcomes spring" praising the Party, beloved Uncle Ho, the land of the heroic and civilized East, the joy of Tet and spring.
Crowds of people attentively watched the performances and waited for the fireworks display to celebrate the new year of Giap Thin 2024.
7 special performances by Meritorious Artist Ploong Thiet, guest singer Anh Linh and artists from the Provincial Center for Culture and Arts.
The highlight of the program is the high-altitude and low-altitude fireworks display that people eagerly await. This is also the first time Hai Duong City has fired high-altitude fireworks.
800 high-altitude fireworks and 120 low-altitude fireworks created a brilliant light party in the sky to celebrate spring in Hai Duong city, Hai Duong province.
