Also on water quality, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Health to direct and coordinate with relevant agencies to assess the water quality of each project, thereby proposing recommendations (if any). The province currently has 98 clean water projects serving daily life and production. The rate of people using clean water is 98%. About 56% of the water supply units are under the Hai Duong Clean Water Business Joint Stock Company. The rest are clean water projects managed by the Clean Water and Rural Sanitation Joint Stock Company, some non-state enterprises and cooperatives.
