These are the basic contents shared by the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs with more than 200 officials representing health stations and social workers at the district and commune levels at the conference guiding the implementation of social assistance policies and social work programs on May 30.

More than 200 social workers in localities were exchanged and equipped with social assistance skills.

Delegates were informed about the province's social assistance policies aimed at providing the best support for the disadvantaged; helping to prevent, minimize and overcome risks throughout their lives, supporting and advising them to enjoy policies on education, health, rehabilitation, career guidance, vocational training, etc. Five principles of action for social workers were also raised at the conference.

This conference is one of the contents for Hai Duong to effectively implement the Social Work Development Program for the period 2021-2030, aiming to increase the rate of people in difficult circumstances receiving support by 20% by 2025 compared to 2020.
