Hai Duong won 312 prizes in the National Internet English Olympiad (IOE) Competition in the 2022-2023 school year, a decrease of 24 prizes compared to the 2021-2022 school year.

Including 38 gold medals, equivalent to the 2021-2022 school year, 64 silver medals, 81 bronze medals and 129 consolation prizes.
Many first prizes were awarded to students in grades 4, 5, and 11. Notably, while grade 11 had 73 prizes with 10 gold medals, Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted had 47 prizes and 8 gold medals. It is expected that the IOE Organizing Committee will honor and award national prizes to students with outstanding achievements on May 20 at the National Economics University (Hanoi).
Previously, on April 7, more than 5,000 Hai Duong students in grades 4, 5, 8, 9 and 11 participated in the National Internet English Competition for the 2022-2023 school year.
The contest was organized by the Ministry of Education and Training in coordination with VTC Multimedia Corporation from the 2010-2011 school year to improve the quality of English learning in high schools, helping students in the provinces have the opportunity to learn English as well as in big cities; contributing to equipping students with foreign language skills to meet the development needs of the country.
