This year, Hai Duong has a larger number of candidates taking the competency assessment exam than last year and has a higher average score than the national average.
On the morning of July 15, the Department of Education and Training of Hai Duong informed that the average score of the Hanoi National University's 2024 competency assessment exam of Hai Duong candidates was 77.7 points, ranking 5th among the northern provinces, up 1 place compared to 2023.
Accordingly, the whole province has 5,048 candidates taking the Hanoi National University's capacity assessment exam in 2024, an increase of 344 candidates compared to 2023. Hai Duong's capacity assessment exam score ranking is behind Nam Dinh, Vinh Phuc, Thai Binh, and Ninh Binh provinces. Hai Duong has a higher average exam score than the national average score.
The whole province has 21 high schools with candidates taking the exam. Hong Quang High School (Hai Duong City) has the largest number of candidates with 518 students.
Thanh Mien II High School had the highest average score in the province with 86.3 points (on a 150-point scale), followed by Nguyen Trai Specialized High School with 86 points, Phuc Thanh High School (Kinh Mon) with 85.7 points, Binh Giang High School with 84.4 points, and Tu Ky High School with 83.8 points. The highest score belonged to a candidate from Thanh Ha High School (126 points), 3 points lower than the candidate with the highest score nationwide. The ranking score is the average score of students taking the exam on a 150-point scale. The ranking of exam scores is a relative comparison, depending on the number of candidates taking the exam and the exam results.
2024 is the first time that Hanoi National University has set up a competency assessment test site in Hai Duong. There are 4 test sessions at Sao Do University (Chi Linh). Candidates take the test on the computer, lasting from 195-199 minutes, including 3 parts with objective multiple choice questions (choosing answers) and fill-in-the-blank questions in the fields of mathematics (50 questions, 75 minutes), literature - language (50 questions, 60 minutes), natural sciences - social sciences (50 questions, 60 minutes).
