According to the synthesis of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, by March 15, the department had received more than 1,000 comments on the draft Land Law (amended).
Delegates gave their opinions directly at the conference to collect opinions on the draft Land Law (amended) of the Provincial People's Committee at the end of February.
Most of the comments focused on land acquisition, compensation, and resettlement support; participating in clarifying the land acquisition mechanism for socio-economic development, avoiding incorrect understandings leading to abuse to acquire land from households in violation of regulations; requesting clarification of the mechanism for common land prices on the market, public and transparent for people to know, check, and supervise; the issue of granting land use right certificates. Some comments contributed to the draft layout, finance and land prices, explaining some terms that need to be clearer and easier to understand...
Previously, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment advised the Provincial People's Committee to issue Plan No. 353/KH-UBND dated February 13, 2023 on organizing public consultation on the draft Land Law (amended). At the end of February, the Provincial People's Committee organized a conference to collect public comments on the draft Land Law (amended) in person at the Dong Xu Cultural Center and online at 12 district-level bridges. Agencies, organizations and district-level People's Committees have all issued plans to implement the collection of public comments on the draft Land Law (amended). Many units and localities also organized conferences to collect comments within the scope of sectors and fields.
The draft Land Law (amended) consisting of 16 chapters and 236 articles was publicly solicited for public opinion from January 3 to March 15 in many forms such as direct participation at conferences, seminars, and discussions; participation in writing, sending emails via the official website, etc. This is an important draft law, directly related to the interests of many classes of people, many organizations, and individuals across the country.
