Hai Duong has 263 facilities qualified for health insurance examination and treatment

Among the medical facilities eligible to sign health insurance contracts, there are 14 provincial facilities. These are the following hospitals: Provincial General Hospital, Traditional Medicine, Rehabilitation, Pulmonary, Pediatrics, Eye and Dermatology, Psychiatry, Tropical Diseases, Obstetrics, Military Hospital 7, Hai Duong Medical Technical University, Hoa Binh General Hospital, Hai Duong DND International Eye Specialist Private Clinic and Provincial Cadre Health Care Protection Board Clinic.

46 district-level medical examination and treatment facilities and equivalents include medical centers of districts, towns, cities and a number of general clinics that are eligible to be ranked as grade III hospitals in 2024 in localities; the rest are health stations of communes, wards and towns.

By area, Hai Duong city has the most medical facilities qualified for health insurance examination and treatment in the province with 42 facilities, followed by Kinh Mon town (28 facilities), Tu Ky district (23 facilities), Thanh Mien, Ninh Giang, Thanh Ha districts and Chi Linh city, each with 21 facilities. The remaining localities have from 17 to 20 facilities.

Qualified medical facilities will provide health insurance-covered medical examination and treatment from January 1, 2015. These medical facilities are responsible for organizing the reception and treatment of people with health insurance cards according to regulations. This will ensure that health insurance participants have convenient access to medical services, improve public health and reduce the burden of medical costs for the people.
