Two subjects Nguyen Ngoc Tuan and Bui Ngoc Vinh, both from Hai Duong city, were detained for 3 months.
On June 4, the Investigation Police Agency of Hai Duong City Police announced that the unit had just initiated a case, prosecuted the accused, and temporarily detained for 3 months two subjects in Hai Duong City, including Nguyen Ngoc Tuan, born in 1982, in Ngoc Chau ward, and Bui Ngoc Vinh, born in 1974, in Nam Dong ward, for being involved in the act of illegally storing and trading drugs.
Previously, at around 7:30 a.m. on June 1, at the foot of the old Phu Luong bridge in Nhi Chau ward (Hai Duong city), the Drug Crime Investigation Police Team, Hai Duong City Police discovered and caught Tuan red-handed illegally hiding 0.181 grams of drugs for use. Tuan confessed that he bought the drugs from Vinh for 300,000 VND.
After learning that Tuan was arrested for illegal possession of drugs, Vinh went to the Hai Duong City Police Department to surrender and confess all his crimes.
It is known that Tuan had a previous conviction for theft in 2001, Vinh had two previous convictions for theft and illegal possession of drugs.
