At some bus stops on Nguyen Luong Bang and Le Thanh Nghi streets, the number of passengers is average.
Representatives of some bus stations in Hai Duong City said that on February 2, the number of passengers entering and leaving the station was about 300-400 passengers, an increase of about 30-40% compared to normal days. This year, the Tet holiday is longer than usual, so many people have proactively returned to their places of study and work early, so there was no situation of being overwhelmed by passengers on the last day of the holiday.
At Hai Duong Station, on February 2, there were 5 trains from Hai Duong to Hanoi with about 1,000 passengers and 75 motorbikes; 4 trains to Hai Phong with about 200 passengers and 30 motorbikes. Trains to Hanoi during the Lunar New Year were added with a total of 13 luggage cars, meeting the needs of people transporting goods and sending vehicles by train.
According to the representative of Hai Duong station, the special thing during this Tet At Ty 2025 is that from January 30 to February 13 (ie January 2 to 16 of the lunar calendar), Vietnam Railways Corporation will pilot community train cars on all main train routes, serving free of charge the entertainment and common living needs of the entire train route. At the toll station at the intersection of Hanoi - Hai Phong Expressway and National Highway 38B, in Gia Loc district, on February 2 (from 0:00 to 17:30), there were more than 10,000 vehicles entering the expressway and more than 5,000 vehicles exiting the expressway.
Previously, on February 1, a total of more than 17,000 vehicles entered the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway and more than 9,000 vehicles exited the expressway at the intersection in Gia Loc district. Compared to the Tet holiday last year, the average number of vehicles entering and exiting the expressway increased by about 10%.
