According to many dealers of materials and fertilizers in Nam Sach, Thanh Ha districts, Kinh Mon town, etc., the prices of materials and fertilizers are currently decreasing sharply compared to the same period last year.

Prices of some types of nitrogen fertilizer such as Phu My nitrogen fertilizer are being sold at 15,100-15,700 VND/kg, down 1,800 VND/kg compared to the beginning of the year, Ca Mau nitrogen fertilizer is 15,100-15,700 VND/kg, down 1,600 VND/kg; Ca Mau potassium fertilizer also decreased by 2,600 VND/kg to 14,900-15,100 VND/kg... Materials and fertilizers decreased by 80,000 - 130,000 VND/bag (50 kg). Specifically, Ha Bac nitrogen fertilizer is now 500,000 VND/bag, down 100,000 VND/bag; Lam Thao nitrogen fertilizer is 630,000 VND/bag, down about 80,000 VND/bag; Ca Mau potassium fertilizer 745,000 VND/bag, down 130,000 VND/bag... Other materials such as herbicides and pesticides remain stable.

Prices of many types of fertilizers are likely to decrease further due to abundant supply and sharp declines in global fertilizer prices. This is the sharpest price decrease in the past 2 years. The sharp decline in prices of many types of fertilizers helps farmers reduce production costs.
